One More Lap for Kids' Village 2026
Sunday 20 September 2026
Stowe Pool, Lichfield
FREE Entry + Team Fundraising Commitment
Registration is CLOSED 😟 Next year, yeah?
One More Lap for Kids' Village, our OG 12-hour, charity ultramarathon, is coming back to Lichfield in 2026. 300 runners, in 60 teams, will compete to complete as many laps of Stowe Pool as they can, from sunrise to sunset – all to raise money for Kids' Village.
Use your body & your brain
One More Lap will be a test of your mind as much as your body.
The course is short, open & pan-flat.
It will be windy.
It will be repetitive.
And every time you pass the entrance to camp, you’ll have a choice to make – will you quit & head back to the comfort of camp, or will you keep running & do One More Lap for Kids’ Village?

"Because ultrarunning events are so difficult simply to complete, it feels more like a 'We're all in this together' rather than 'Me vs. You'."

Fundraising Festival of Running
One More Lap's so much more than just another ultra though. It's a day-long fundraising festival of running.
Our Event Camps are filled with music & laughter, food & drink and buzzing with the energy of runners & your support crew cheering you on.
It’s guaranteed to be a day you’ll never forget. Promise.
Let’s build the camp together
Your team needs to bring a gazebo or tent that’s big enough to fit you and all your supplies in.
There’ll be plenty of room on the field so if you’ve got a big one, feel free to bring it.
Plus, you’ll likely be in camp for a fair while so something to sit on – camping chairs, inflatable sofas, hammocks. You decide.
Best Dressed Pitch Award
We'd love you to turn your corner of the camp into "Your Happy Place" – whatever and wherever that might be.
Why not transform your pitch into a pub? How about spending the day at the spa (or Spar?). Maybe stretch out on a sun lounger while listening to hula music. It’s up to you…
There’s a fabulous Fortnum & Mason’s hamper & some champagne up for grabs for the Best Dressed Pitch
So, get your thinking caps on, get out of your pain cave, and help us make camp an ultra-Happy Place.
Your Fundraising Commitment
One More Lap is free to enter but…
By signing up to One More Lap you’re committing to hit a fundraising target for Kids' Village.
That might sound scary but we’re reasonable people. So we're only asking you to raise... *drum roll*
Our runners raised more than £210 each on average last year!
Here with the tips
We're sure you'll smash that. But if you are worried about hitting your target, we'll help with your fundraising planning – we just need 100% effort from you :)
Like, why not try easyfundraising? They turn everyday online shopping into extra donations towards your target!
